＜Story＞

The Galuga Archipelago, off the coast of New Zealand, has been seized by the mysterious terrorist organization Red Falcon. Intelligence indicates the terrorists are arming the island and developing a ultimate weapon.

Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, legendary elite soldiers of the Marine Corps Contra unit, are dispatched on a mission. What awaits them is a battle beyond imagination, on which the fate of Earth hinges.

Run, jump, and gun down every enemy in your path — an evolved run ’n’ gun experience! A side-view run-and-gun action game with horizontally and vertically scrolling stages. Wield signature weapons such as the Spread Shot, Laser Beam, and Homing Missile to blast through enemies and massive regional bosses across 8 stages!

Easy-to-pick-up controls and a wide range of difficulty settings make the game accessible to everyone. Beyond 2-player co-op Story Mode, Arcade Mode supports up to 4-player co-op.

■ Story Mode Set on the familiar Galuga Archipelago, this mode introduces new characters and a brand-new story. What will Bill and Lance discover deep within the island? Supports 2-player co-op.

■ Arcade Mode A pure, casual arcade experience. Beyond Bill and Lance, you can play as newly added characters. Supports up to 4-player co-op.

■ Challenge Mode Tackle goals such as speedruns and weapon-restricted runs. Complete challenges to earn large amounts of Contra Coins.

■ Park Shop Use Contra Coins earned across game modes to unlock new character abilities, alternate sound effects, and more.
